MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction)

This course is fantastic for those wishing to expand their understanding of how mindfulness and meditation practice can help manage stress and the symptoms of stress and the regular weekly sessions are a great way to kick start regular meditation practice. The course allows you to explore your own automatic stress responses and to view behaviour and emotions objectively so that you can start to recognise patterns and make adjustments.  More details about the course and how to join below:

MHFA (Mental Health First Aid)

Being able to help someone does not need to stop at physical first aid, but it can be daunting when a person is in mental distress.  This course will teach you practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues.  You will gain confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress.

On completion you will be a certified Mental Health First Aider.  This course is a blend of live training sessions and self-learning activities, in small groups.

The following course is being led by one of our Forest Bathing Guides Catherine McCusker:

  • Live session 1: 8th March 2022
  • Live session 2: 10th March 2022
  • Live session 3: 15th March 2022
  • Live session 4: 17th March 2022

All sessions start at 17.30 and end 20.30
