May update. Mind, forest bathing and mental health funded programmes

We are delighted to announce our next partnership with Mind, including feedback from past events!

The attached image shares moving feedback from participant referrals attending the previous sessions organised with Mind. For the TFBI team, it is heartwarming to read that forest bathing can make a difference to people referred by mental health charities. The confirmation of what we have long believed has motivated us to expand our funded programme to assist even greater numbers.

We are now planning the next round of funded sessions in cooperation with the Surrey Hills AONB team. These sessions include transportation to bring our work to a broader audience. We are incredibly grateful for the support and belief in our work from the Surrey Hills AONB and look forward to working on the next steps together.

Expanding our network

Over the next 6 – 12 months, we anticipate launching funded programmes across Greater London and the southeast. We also have team members across England and Wales. We would be delighted to hear from anyone connected to the NHS, mental health charities, county and borough councils, and social prescribing organisations. Further increasing our network of support will allow us to help more people.

Additionally, our sessions are designed to highlight the importance of nature and green space to enhance what remains for future generations.

Diversity, inclusion and bespoke Forest Bathing+ sessions

We are constantly striving to expand our work to diverse groups and bring the benefits of nature to all. Our team can adapt a session based on the group’s needs. We can run sessions for cosmopolitan, men and women’s groups, wheelchair users, the visually impaired and the hard of hearing among many others. Please contact us to find out more.

UCL – London’s Global University

Finally, we are delighted to announce an upcoming study with UCL https://www.ucl.ac.uk. Together, we will evaluate the benefits of our 6-week nature immersion funded programmes. More details soon!
