Université de Paris and Kings College London presentation

Université de Paris and Kings College London

We are thrilled to announce we have received an invitation to present our work at the “Valuing Nature” symposium held at Kings College London in June. The seminar is an element of a cross-disciplinary project that will connect expertise between the Université de Paris and Kings College London.

Valuing Nature theme

“How has the natural world been valued, and how have different types of engagement with nature and environment been valued?”

Our forest bathing presentation will cover two main themes

Our work in the health and wellbeing sphere is helping to create a new way of financially valuing natural spaces on the doorstep of local communities. Apportioning additional financial values for wellbeing and preventative healthcare will aid the long-term protection of these crucial environs. We also anticipate the additional capital value leading to the expansion of green spaces for community use across the UK and further afield!

Nature makes our hearts sing?

We will also explore how we value nature from mental health and emotional wellbeing perspectives. Does time in nature make our hearts sing? The respite offered by green spaces can often feel priceless, especially when life events feel challenging.

We are also planning numerous meetings during our time in London related to expanding nature-based and forest bathing physiological studies.

Growing interest in nature and health

We are delighted to be receiving wide-ranging enquiries across sectors related to our work. We are excited to be part of the growing movement of interest related to nature and wellbeing!
